Are you looking to move to Bali in 2017?

New Year Resolution

Happy new year to everyone! If you just joined then I want to say thank you for subscribing to my newsletter.

The new year always makes people excited about starting out with a fresh slate. People set goals and make resolutions. Sadly, it won’t take long for many people to break their new year resolutions and give up on their goals.

If you are serious about accomplishing anything this year, write down what you would like to accomplish. Discuss them and garner support from your friends and family.

If you are looking to move to Bali in 2017, then now is the time to start preparing. Write down what you need to get done to make the move.

It is easy to get stuck in a rut with life. I know it is happened to me and travel or moving to a different country/city has been a great way to get a new outlook on life.

I know it’s not always easy, especially if you have a family and kids. Last year I discovered the site Udemy where you take online courses on a huge range of subjects. The courses are cheap and I would say some of them are better than what you would find at a local college. Many courses that can be taught easily online can also lead to jobs which you can do anywhere in the world.

One of the things which I enjoy about running this site is helping to answer people’s questions about living in Bali, or anything related to working online or building an internet based business. So please feel free to hit me up with any questions by replying to this email and I would be happy to help.

Absolutely when I first came here in 2015 my goal was to move to Bali yet it took another 17 months before my plan actually came to fruition and I relocated to the island. Making a list and being more organized would have definitely got me here quicker.

Hi there, we are a couple from the Uk looking to live in Bali for 2 months (April and May this year) with a 4 month old baby. We would like advice on where in Bali might be baby friendly — access to nannies, access to a hospital and also easy for the pram (Ubud villas in paddy fields might be difficult)?
Ideally in an area with good wifi and some other expat mums and babies . Could you advise?
We’ve been to Ubud previously and love it, but keen to know of other areas
