Expat guide to living in Bali

Welcome to the Bali Expat.com website!

When I was looking for information on moving to and living in Bali, I found it difficult to find complete and up to date information, which is what motivated me to start this website.  There are some forums and many beautiful travel related websites, but not so much practical information.

I have now written two guides, one is a free guide on how you might be able to live in Bali, if you are not rich or already retired.  Since it is difficult to find work in Bali for foreigners, it is not easy to earn an income if you don't fall into either of these categories.

My next project was to write a guide on starting a business in Bali.  If there is not much information on living in Bali, there is almost zero information for foreigners who want to start a business.  The book has been well received and has some positive feedback.  You can read more about it here.

Along with the guides, the website has a property section houses, businesses and land for sale and rent in Bali.  Listings are free.  To register for an account, please contact us here and tell us what username you would like.

I am also creating a Bali business directory for businesses who offer goods and services specifically for expats living in Bali.  Listings are free.
